Hi! I'm Orla, the face and hands behind Wall Flower Prints.

 

My background as a surface pattern designer explains a lot about my obsession with colour and pattern. I've worked in the fashion industry all over the world from Melbourne and Sydney, Australia to London and at home in Ireland creating beautiful prints for women's and kids wear.

I've always been an animal lover and secret tree hugger and my love for creating colourful art has grown with me from a young age. The inspiration behind Wall Flower Prints came from spending hours and days searching for the perfect gift for my friends and families precious newborn babies. Living oversea's for six years I am always acutely aware how unusual Irish names and spelling of these names are. I wanted to create something that celebrated unusual names and all the things I love, animals, nature and patterns in bright playful colours.

The Custom Name Prints were the first and most popular prints I've created and I still get such a thrill posting each new order to it's new home. I hope to grow my collection to include more animal prints and brightly coloured artwork to brighten up the walls of every nursery and fill the rooms with colour and joy.
